Unmasked!! Details Emerge On The Nairobi Meeting Where Bobi Wine Allegedly Invited Gays To Mock Besigye And Muntu , NUP MP Says Bobi Wine Is Promoting Homosexuality And Not Removing A Dictator
Kimanya-Kabonera MP Abed Bwanika, indicating that his differences with the NUP Party Secretariat are irreconcilable, has escalated his accusations by alleging that party President Bobi Wine and Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya (whom he claims goes by the name Rukiri) knowingly supported the promotion of homosexuality.
During an appearance on Adam Kungu’s NBS Eagle program on Sunday, Bwanika referred to a human rights meeting held last year in Nairobi, Kenya. He asserted that Bobi and Rubongoya led fellow opposition leaders under the guise of addressing human rights abuses in Uganda, while the true intention of the event was to advocate for the acceptance of homosexuality.
“He [Bobi] had always shared cut walks with gay promoters a funders in Chicago and other places and that Nairobi meeting wasn’t any different. You had men everywhere who were dressed like women: they wore dresses and skirts besides earrings and being in ladies’ shoes. He herded leaders of Jeema, ANT and even FDC into the same meeting. Col Kizza Besigye was there and personally had to comfort Gen Mugisha Muntu, Imam Kasozi and Honorable Mpuuga that they were safe keeping company with these clear homosexuals,” Bwanika said.
Furthermore, Bwanika claimed that Gen Muntu and his close friend and fellow CBS panelist, Imam Kasozi, were inclined to leave the meeting and return to Kampala due to the moral dilemma created by Bobi Wine’s actions. However, Dr. Kizza Besigye intervened to calm them down and address the situation.
When the moderator expressed concern about the perceived demonization of the party Bwanika claims to still belong to, Bwanika responded by hinting at possessing more incriminating information regarding his leaders’ involvement in homosexuality but chose to hold back for the sake of the party’s integrity.
“I have substantial details that I could divulge here, but I’m refraining from doing so to avoid causing further damage to the party. You see, I invested a lot in NUP, including dedicating an entire year to chairing meetings at Makerere, Centenary Park, and Speke Hotel, where the Kyagulanyi strategy was devised. It was during those meetings that we agreed to put aside our presidential aspirations and rally behind Kyagulanyi,” Bwanika disclosed.
However, he criticized Kyagulanyi for leading the struggle inadequately, allowing President Museveni to face the weakest opposition since 1986. He demanded to know why Kyagulanyi, who is supposed to lead the anti-Museveni struggle on the ground in Uganda, spends more time on the plane travelling the globe than inside the country where he is supposed to be leading masses for liberation from.
Ex-Kawempe South MP, Mubarak Munyagwa, who rejected Bobi Wine on grounds of inadequate leadership skills from the very beginning, sympathised with Dr. Abed Bwanika and proceeded to make it clear that he and other seasoned politicians in NUP deserve the torment they have endured at the hands of brutes inside Mr. Wine’s Firebase Crew.
Munyagwa said he warned them from as early as 2018 as they acquiesced to the crude violence and demonisation the Kyagulanyi squads were directing at Dr. Kizza Besigye for the entire three years preceding 2021 (2018-2021).
