“Recently President Museveni Told Jane To Buy Me A Car” Says Full Figure

Ugandan songstress and media personality, Jennifer Full Figure, may soon be cruising in a new set of wheels thanks to a generous gesture from President Yoweri Museveni. During her Omusunsuzi show on Salt TV, Full Figure disclosed that the President had instructed State House Comptroller Jane Barekye to allocate funds for her new car.

In response to a social media uproar surrounding YouTuber Rogers Ssebunya’s split from his wife Anne Taylor after the birth of twins, Full Figure defended traditionalist Mama Fina against accusations of involvement in the breakup. Dismissing claims that buying a car for a friend indicates a romantic relationship, she drew parallels between her association with the president and the rumored connection between SB4 and Mama Fina.

Full Figure, born Jennifer Namutebi Nakangubi, rose to fame with the hit single “Mukyale” in the early 2000s. Known for her controversial narratives and bold language, she is currently a prominent mobilizer for the ruling party NRM in the central region. Previously aligned with Kyagulanyi Sentamu (Bobi Wine), she is also recognized as an entrepreneur, farmer, and businesswoman in Kampala, Uganda.

Born in Masaka district, Kijjabwami area, to the late Ssajjalyabene Francis, who was a rebel soldier in the liberation war, Full Figure faced early challenges after her mother’s death when she was six. Hindered by a difficult stepmother, she left school in primary two and began a journey of hustling. Working as a roadside maize roaster from the age of 13, she eventually transitioned to selling shoes and clothes, navigating her way through various households, including those of musicians Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu.

While serving as a housemaid in Catherine Kusasira’s home, she acquired the moniker “Full Figure” from Geoffrey Lutaaya, a name that has stuck with her throughout her varied and resilient journey.
