Nyanzi, Bobi Wine’s Brother Earns A Master’s Degree From Makerere University

Nyanzi Fred Ssentamu, the elder sibling of Robert Kyagulanyi, famously known as Bobi Wine, has reached a significant milestone in his academic journey by securing a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Makerere University. Amid the bustling atmosphere of Makerere University’s graduation week, commencing on January 29th, 2024, Nyanzi Fred’s accomplishment gleams as a testament to his unwavering dedication to advancing his expertise in peacebuilding and conflict resolution.

Beyond his scholarly pursuits, Nyanzi Fred assumes a prominent role in Uganda’s political landscape, serving as the Head of Mobilization for the National Unity Platform (NUP). In a heartfelt Facebook update, Nyanzi conveyed that the torrential rainfall earlier in the day symbolized blessings upon his graduation. He extended his gratitude to all who bolstered him and attributed his achievement to the divine providence.

While Nyanzi Fred’s bid for the Member of Parliament for Kampala Central in the 2021 general elections fell short, his academic triumph underscores resilience and an unwavering commitment to lifelong learning.Nyanzi Fred, also affectionately referred to as Chairman Nyanzi, encompasses various roles as a Ugandan politician, entrepreneur, businessman, and leader in the informal sector within the National Unity Platform (NUP).

Having previously served as chairman LC 1 and LC 2 of Kamwokya division, his exceptional leadership qualities earned him the moniker “Chairman Wattu.” He shares fraternal ties with Eddy Yawe, another notable figure in Uganda’s music scene, and Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East. Nyanzi Fred harbors aspirations of representing Kampala Central in the Parliament under the banner of the National Unity Platform.
