The ongoing feud between musician Gravity Omutujju and politician Bobi Wine seems poised for another round, with Omutujju launching fresh criticisms at the latter’s alleged neglect of Kyadondo’s healthcare needs. Omutujju didn’t hold back, lambasting Bobi Wine for purportedly failing to establish even a single hospital despite his claims of leadership. The artist, known for his outspoken nature, didn’t mince words, accusing the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader of overlooking the health concerns of his constituents.
He questioned Bobi Wine’s identity and knowledge about hospitals, suggesting that existing facilities like Mulago and Kisumu should suffice. Omutujju’s stance was clear: if Bobi Wine feels more hospitals are necessary, he should take the initiative to build them himself.
Dismissing the necessity of hospitals, Omutujju advocated for a mindset centered on avoiding illness rather than relying on medical facilities. This unexpected perspective underscores Omutujju’s unpredictable nature, both in his political allegiances and his artistic endeavors.
Wabuyi started singing as a student at Old Kampala Secondary school, where he picked up Gravity Omutujju as a stage name. At the age of 17, he signed with Redemption Studios, where he recorded his first song, “Joanita”.
He later joined producer Didi in Born Fire, a Makindye-based group, where he connected with other artists with whom he has collaborated. He has received media attention for his criticisms of other musicians.
