BIG STORY!! NUP Buys Mobilization Vans Ahead Of 2026 Elections
In a significant move to bolster its nationwide presence, the National Unity Platform (NUP) unveiled a fleet of mobilization vehicles, one for each of the four regions in Uganda, at a ceremony held at the party headquarters in Makerere Kavule, Kampala City. This strategic initiative aims to enhance the party’s grassroots engagement and mobilization efforts across the country.
NUP President Bobi Wine, while addressing the gathering, emphasized the importance of these vehicles in facilitating smoother execution of party activities in each region. “We are committed to reaching every corner of Uganda, and these vehicles will play a crucial role in our nationwide mobilization efforts,” he stated.
The event also witnessed the induction of over 270 new members and leaders into the party, further swelling the NUP’s ranks. Bobi Wine warmly welcomed the new entrants, expressing his gratitude for their decision to join the party. He emphasized that their collective efforts would be instrumental in salvaging Uganda from its current governance crisis and rebuilding it into a beacon of freedom, democracy, and prosperity.
In a scathing critique of the incumbent government, Bobi Wine remarked, “Mr. Museveni and his accomplices have proven that they either do not care about Uganda or its citizens, or perhaps both.” He stressed that it was high time for Ugandans to take matters into their own hands and liberate their country from its captors, focusing it in a new direction where citizens feel truly involved in shaping their destiny.
The NUP President advised the new members to introspect daily, asking themselves what they had done to bring Uganda closer to its desired state. He also expressed his pride in hosting numerous artistes and creatives, a family he has always been proud to belong to, underscoring the party’s commitment to embracing diverse talents and perspectives.
This development marks a significant milestone in NUP’s journey, as the party gears up for a nationwide mobilization drive, poised to engage citizens and reclaim Uganda’s future.
