Hassan Mubiru, a local events organizer, has come forward to share the harrowing experience of his son, Salim Mubiru, who was allegedly assaulted and robbed by singer Alien Skin and his gang in September.
According to Hassan, Salim was visiting from the USA and had gone to Hajji Haruna’s restaurant to order food. As he waited, Alien Skin and his gang arrived, and the singer allegedly mistook Salim for someone else and began punching him while wearing heavy rings on his fingers.
Salim was severely beaten, losing two teeth, and was left with serious injuries. The boda boda rider who had transported Salim to the restaurant helped him get to the hospital, where he received treatment.
Hassan reported the incident to the police, and Alien Skin was summoned to the police station, where he recorded a statement and was given a police bond. However, he failed to show up on the agreed date to return to the police, leading to a warrant of arrest being issued.
Alien Skin was eventually arrested two months later and taken to court. Hassan is now seeking justice for his son, who was not only physically assaulted but also robbed of his property, including Shs500,000 in cash and a phone worth Shs3.5M.
Hassan is calling for the law to take its course, ensuring that his son receives the justice he deserves. The incident has sparked outrage, with many calling for Alien Skin to be held accountable for his actions.
