Famous Pastor Shot Dead By Police In Robbery Incident – Found With Toy Gun

A priest caught in the middle of a robbery in Kitui County was shot dead by police.A priest was found by the police with a toy gun, a  police radio and a machete.

Police said the priest was dealing with one of his worshipers who escaped with gunshot wounds. Police found the pastor and one of the church members involved in the attack.

NTV Kenya reported that the priest was shot  by the police and seriously injured while his name was engraved.The report also stated that a toy gun, a double-edged sword and a fake police radio were found next to a dead man of God.

Ikutha District Police Commissioner Paul Omollo announced the arrest of five family members  following the sudden death of a Grade 3 student of Mikongooni Mixed Secondary School in Kitui District.

Kitui priest and his wife  arrested after worshiper’s death. A day after the student disappeared, his lifeless body was found dumped on the road near the priest’s house.

Following the discovery, the priest, his wife and  three children were detained by investigators who were investigating the murder of a young woman who  was also a member of their congregation.

He had fought with the attackers, as evidenced by the holes in his hands and face and serious head injuries.According to the preliminary investigation, the family’s motorcycle, as well as his wife and three children, were used to exhume the priest’s body after the murder.
